With graphically intense live action, new characters join Leon and Chris to face a new outbreak of the virulent C-virus across a narrative that moves from the US to Eastern Europe and China. Kicking off with a zombie- infected US President, mysterious agents and the resurgent threat of the Neo-Umbrella Corp, stories are interwoven on a cinematic level, with new crossover action letting up to four players experience the horror together online with an evolved control system and some awesome new vehicles. PHIL DUDMAN CARRIER COMMAND: GAEA MISSION A classy remake of a classic Spectrum/C64 title from 1988, Carrier Command brings the original game- changing concept up to date. You take command of a futuristic aircraft carrier on a mission to capture islands, using the resources and strategic properties of each to build your force of customisable amphibious Walrus vehicles and airborne Manta attack craft. The genius is its total integration of first-person shooter and strategic skirmish battle play, set between two huge campaign modes. While single-player, this is a dynamic under- taking, an interweaving of Halo and Command & Conquer into something totally unique. PHIL DUDMAN F1 RACE STARS Whoever thought mashing up the best bits of Mario Kart with the real world of Formula 1 racing would be the bog’s dollocks was absolutely right. So welcome to F1 Race Stars, featuring the entire cast of F1 drivers and outrageous theme- park style versions of circuits from Spa to Monaco. Yes, it’s time to reach for Hamilton’s helmet and put your pedal to the Vettel for the ultimate in fast- paced fun as you hit pit lanes, collect power-ups, cast wet weather clouds on your multiplayer opponents and sling-shot into the lead with a KERS boost-up.
