gaMo knives

We offer our GAMO knives and their Certificate of Quality from the province of ALBACETE, manufactured in the best tradition of Spanish cutlery, and from the best materials available to us. Tradition and Craftsmanship join the GAMO service to add another facet to the world of Hunting and the Great Outdoors.

GAMO Knife wants to meet the needs of all its customers with three different lines of products: TACTICAL, HUNTING and POCKET KNIFE.

The TACTICAL line features two types of knives through three models: one model with a nylon and fibreglass handle, and the other two with micarta handles. Fibreglass is an extremely strong material that is highly resistant to impact, while micarta is composed of resin that is pressed at very high temperatures to produce plates from which the knives’ handles are manufactured. The characteristics of this material are density and hardness, making it ideal for the manufacture of handles. MoVa 1.4116 and stainless 440 are the type of steel used in this line, is notable for having carbon added to make it stronger, and is tempered so that it can be bent without breaking. Two of these knives include a leather case and a magnesium bar to start a fire if necessary; the other knife features a Cordura case.

The HUNTING line, the most suitable for hunting and the outdoors, offers seven types of knives. We are launching them with different types of handles: three of genuine staghorn, respecting the craft tradition. Two others of olive wood, and another made of stamina, a very resistant chipboard, unalterable regardless of changes in humidity and temperature. The most exclusive knife in this line features genuine buffalo horn. The steel in this line is Molybdenum-Vanadium (1.4116), widely used in hunting knives. This alloy provides resistance to wear and high durability thanks to the Molybdenum, and resistance to corrosion and oxidation thanks to the Vanadium. All of them incorporate a leather sheath which is handmade to fit each knife in the line.

The POCKET KNIFE line consists of six types of knives which are very exclusive because of the materials used in their manufacture. In this line, we highlight the handles made of bull horn, ram horn, buffalo horn and the classical one, deer antler. The other two models in the line, which are more classical, incorporate stamina and rosewood. In this line, different types of steel are used, ranging from the aforementioned Stainless 440 and MoVa, like the Sandvik 12C27, a Swedish stainless steel with high purity and a microstructure of fine carbides, providing an excellent cutting edge. They have a high degree of resistance to corrosion, impact and wear (abrasion).
