Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations-2019

A rich tribute was paid today i.e. 2nd October, 2019

by the staffs & students of AMU City Girls’ High

School to mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma

Gandhi along with the birth anniversary of our Ex

Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri with

garlanding.

A special Assembly was organised on this auspicious

occasion. Speeches were delivered by the students

and teachers as well.

National Flag was hoisted by School Principal

Dr. Md. Alamgir followed by National Anthem.

Principal administered ‘Swachhta Pledge’ to all

teaching and non-teaching staffs. At last Principal

gave very useful speech on works and philosophies of

Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastri. He urged them to

obey and practice their doings and sayings in daily

lives to maintain peace and tranquility in society

and for the development of our country.
