If you have large quantities of garbage (e.g. from moving house or from gardening), you can arrange for a garbage pickup service. ¥10,000 per 2t vehicle ★Please move items for collection to an area that is easily accessible by a 2t vehicle.

The city council provides a garbage pickup service to seniors and disabled people who are unable to take their garbage to a collection site by themselves. This service is available only to people who satisfy all the following conditions: ①People who live alone; ②People who are unable to take their garbage to a garbage collection site by themselves and who cannot get support from
neighbors or family; ③Persons aged 65 years or older and who have nursing care insurance level 2 or higher, or people who have a Class 1 or 2
physical disability certificate; ※ This service also applies to households with residents who only satisfy condition ③ above
Application to register Please contact the Department of Environment to make an application. The department will review your application and determine your eligibility. □Applications can be made in person, or if you cannot attend yourself, a family member or carer can make the application

Garbage from Business
It is your responsibility to dispose of garbage from your business (e.g., shops, restaurants, hospitals, factories, company offices, etc), regardless of the amount of garbage. You cannot dispose business garbage in residential garbage collection sites.
