"The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia" Movie Screening April 27th at Sutton 6th Grade Campus Sutton will host a screening of James Redford's highly-acclaimed HBO Film "The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia", followed by a discus- sion led by respected, local psychologist Judy Wolman, PhD on Wednesday, April 27th (6:30-8PM) at Sutton's 6th Grade Campus (4360 Powers Ferry Road). The film not only clears up misconceptions about dyslexia, but also paints a picture of hope for all who struggle with it. A surprising number of children with dyslexia are not diagnosed until their adolescent or teen years. This event is FREE. La semana internacional de los viajeros ya viene a Garden Hills Elementary esta primavera de mayo 2 a mayo 6 Los viajeros Internacional es un programa de estudios sociales de inmersión por una semana completa de duración que introduce a los estudiantes con las costumbres y la historia de los países de todo el mundo. Piense en ello como una excursión a un país extranjero para todo el alumnado, sin tener que salir de la escuela! Para este año inaugural con los viajeros internacionales, Garden Hills estará viajando a México! Estén atentos para más detalles ... El problema matemático de abril ya se coloco en línea. El último problema del Mes (POM) del año escolar se llama Colección de Courtney que implica el sentido numérico, la divisibilidad, los principios de conteo y la cartografía sistemática. Se iniciarán durante el almuerzo el 28 de abril y continuará en mayo ya que los estu-diantes son capaces de trabajar para completar las tareas de nivelado.
