Countryside Mobility Scheme
This is a scheme you can join which lets you hirespecial scooters if you find walking hard. You mighthave to pay a small fee when you hire the scooters.
The Tramper is an electric mobility scooter thatcan be used on rough ground, mud and grass.
The scheme also has wheelchair accessible boats.
You must be over the age of 14 so that you arecovered by the insurance. You do not have to beregistered as a disabled person or have a BlueBadge.
Some health issues mean that not everyone will beable to join the scheme.
