Jardí de la Infància (bridge). One of the access points to the panoramic walk along the city’s medieval walls.
Plaça Federico Fellini (building, outer corner). The perfect spot to take a short break during a visit to Girona’s historic quarter.
Mirador dels Maristes (paved area, railing). Another marvellous viewpoint overlooking Girona, beside a section of the Roman wall, the oldest in the city.
Jardins dels Alemanys (wall). Gardens full of history and charm, bordered by walls and home to the remains of the old Alemanys barracks (17th century).
Jardins de la Francesa (wall, on top). These gardens offer a different view of the back of the cathedral and its most emblematic gargoyle, the ‘witch of the cathedral’.
Pujada de Sant Feliu (building, inner corner). A small garden located in Pujada de Sant Feliu.
Jardins de John Lennon (stairs). Located close to the least-known section of Girona’s old city walls, near Sant Pere de Galligants.
Jardí de l’Àngel (building, outer corner). A little garden with a special charm that takes its name from the street where it is located and also from the sculpture that stands there, a representation of the archangel Metatron.
Devesa Park (crossroad). The city’s great urban park, covering an area of over 40 hectares with more than 2,600 very tall plane trees planted out in wide avenues.
Devesa Botanical Garden (fountain). French-style gardens from the 19th century, surrounded by little canals. There you can find a wide variety of interesting plant species.
