Employment HistoryPHd Design, November 2005 - September 2011.
I was previously employed at a full service design agency in Lichfield, Staffordshire, UK.
I worked within a core team of five and my duties included creative studio work on a variety of projects across a range of media, including signage, packaging, literature, branding, corporate identity, advertising and web design.
I worked on projects from initial concept and visualisation through to finishing artwork. Amassing a wealth of knowledge on production methods and gaining experience in buying and managing print the the process.
Over the six years I was employed at PHd design, I became a key member of the team and regularly project managed jobs from start to finish.
I was tasked with supervising work experience students and interns placed in the studio during the latter years as the company grew in size.
Personal Skills
I have a good understanding of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.
My typographic skills are very good and I have experience in buying and managing print through brokers and print houses. I am organised and methodical in my work and maintain a keen eye for detail.
I have very good communication skills, enjoy the challenge of problem solving and applying creative thinking in my design work.
I am a great team player but equally at home working on my own. Above all I am passionate about doing my very best in everything I do.
