DAY 6 km 65VIESTE - MONTE SANT'ANGELO Getting to Monte Sant'angelo will be the challenging part of the tour. We slowstart climbing in the early morning. The village is an architectural and spiritual jewel. Here we will see Grotta San Michele with its incredible energy, its ancient and amazing old town and stunning views, from mountains to the sea.

DAY 7 km 48MONTE SANT'ANGELO - FALCAREAfter a fast descent from Monte Sant'Angelo we pass through Bosco Quarto using a part of an off road trail to get to Masseria Falcare, an idyllic place in the National Park of Gargano where we can spend the afternoon relaxing at the swimming pool, getting around in woods and learning more about local agricultu-re. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 8 km 59FALCARE - SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO - SAN SEVEROIn the early morning we will get to San Giovanni Rotondo and then to Abbazia of Stignano and San Marco in Lamis. In the afternoon we will arrive to San Severo where the tour ends.

Gargano Bike organizes a Gargano cycling itinerary between Foresta Umbra wild nature, beautiful beaches and spirituality with its necropolis and sanctuaries, Via Longobarda and Francigena del Sud traces.

Details:8 days/7 nightsOvernight stay in farm holidays and 3 star hotel (air conditioning and bathroom always available)

Meals: full board, breakfast and dinner in hotel, light lunch on trails or in typical farm

Assistance: an Italian and English speaking guide will be with you during the tour and will carry tools and replacement parts for small works. Every night a complete tool set will be available for an ordinary maintenance. if necessary, a shuttle service will be available to get to the next bike station.

Baggage: baggage will be transferred on our shuttle and you will find them in your room every night at your arrive in hotel. We suggest you to use a small backpack with things you need during the day.

DAY 1 km 85SAN SEVERO - APRICENA - CAGNANO VARANO - RODI GARGANICOMeeting at San Severo railway station. This stage is the longest of the tour, if you survive you got it! Actually it is easy and flowly, with just a few light ascents. We pass through typical small villages to San Michele cave at Cagnano. From here we slowly bike to Rodi Garganico with its amazing old town, coasting the sea. Overnight and dinner at a 3 star hotel close to the beach.

DAY 2RODI GARGANICO, excursion to TREMITI ISLANDSSailing to Tremiti Islands bringing our bikes with us to move easily in San Domino Island, return to Rodi in the evening.

DAY 3 km 28 RODI GARGANICO - VICO DEL GARGANO - PESCHICIPassing through a panoramic road we get to the heart of Gargano and its beau-tiful beaches, between rocks and green woods. In Vico del Gargano we can taste the best dishes from the typical garganic cousine. In the afternoon a spectacular descent to Peschici where we can walk in the narrow streets of the old town.

DAY 4 km 25PESCHICI - VIESTEWe slowly start to get to the first beach of the day, Zaiana. Here we will visit one of the famous Trabucco, a characteristic fishing place. After that we will head to Sfinale beach for a light lunch in a beach restaurant and a little time for relax. Vieste will be our last destination of the day.
