1. Range of Elaboration

Due to the ABS requirements it is necessary to install gas detectors on the main deck/pipe rack to

ensure safety in Temporary Well Testing System area.

Smoke detection in a boiler container is not related to ABS requirements.

2. Description of the Proposed Technical Solution

Gas detection system.

Gas hazards in Temporary Well Testing area will be monitored by 9 IR gas detectors. Gas detectors

will by calibrated to detect combustible gases (methane). Gas detection controller will by installed in

mobile control container. Gas detection will run the Audible and Visual Signalling Devices. Localization

of gas detectors, controller and Audible and Visual Signalling Devices is shown on DP01316-E01-

7002-0. Gas detectors will be installed above the well testing system devices.

Smoke detection system.

Fire hazards in Boiler Container will be monitored by smoke detectors. Smoke detection controller will

by installed in mobile control container. Smoke detection will run the Audible and Visual Signalling

Devices. Localization of gas detectors, controller and Audible and Visual Signalling Devices is shown

on DP01316-E01-7002-0.
