Hi Fellow Members;

March has been a great month for our club and memberparticipation. We've had some great meals, jazz events,paint and pizza and we've paved our parking lot!! All witha lot of wonderful volunteers. We had over 33 membersat the paint and pizza event!! We managed to paint thewalls in our clubhouse in about 4 hours!!

Our last improvement project for this term is to finishpainting the ceiling in our clubhouse.

We are all excited about our new parking lot. We gotabout $4000 in member donations for this $11,000expense. That leaves $7000 we have to repay to oursavings account. We'll be doing a lot of 50/50's and rafflesto pay this expense back. We will also use the proceeds ofthe Maifest and encourage members that haven'tcontributed to do so.

On April 16th we are having Irish night at our club andhave invited the Irish club to join us. Jimmy Conway andJimmy Quinn will be entertaining us. So make yourreservations now. We will be limited on the amount ofpeople we can have.

Beverly Long is organizing volunteers for our Maifest atthe club. Please contact her. I also encourage all of ourmembers to attend and support this event on April 30thand May 1st at the club.

Sunshine ReportRON TASCHNER WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND ISRECUPERATING AT HOME. MARY KAY GRABIK HAD KNEESURGERY. DON LONG HAD SURGERY, PATRICIABELLINGER WAS IN THE HOSPITAL. ROGER COUTUREWAS IN THE HOSPITAL

A big thank you to Rita Taschner for the beautiful andtasty Polish Evening ! We had 24 people attend andeveryone enjoyed the food, the music and thedecorations ! Thank you also to your helpers ! So far thisevent has been a lot of fun !

The next Heimatabend will be on Wednesday, April 27thby Fran Caldwell and Joanne Frazier. They will bepreparing a Louisiana Evening with a Mardi Gras Theme.On the menu will be Gumbo and Catfish with Lemon piefor dessert. The charge will be 12 Dollars.
