Introduction to GATE

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is a prestigious all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of India ( IIT's) headed by one institute every year in rotation this year GATE 2015 is being conducted by IIT Kanpur. Admission to postgraduate programmes with government scholarships/assistantships in engineering colleges/Institutes/Universities is open to those who qualify through this test.

LIVE Sessions for Post GATE Guidance willbe conducted in the 1st week of April

A team of 21 engineering students from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, unveiled an upgraded version of the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV). According to the students, the AUV named Matsya 2.0 is capable of carrying out predetermined and programmed tasks underwater and can also navigate on its own. It will be useful for underwater rescue operations without involving any human effort.One of the members of team Matsya 2.0 said that it was a cut above its predecessors both in terms of dynamics and capabilities, without compromising on the shape or core abilities.
