Students will create creatures, buildings, air crafts, and much more! Robotics Beginners/Gr. 3-5/$185/Wednesday/ 2:00 - 3:15 Instructor: Mrs. Beren This club is for beginners, to program Lego Mindstorms EV3 robots, along with several other types of robots. Students will utilize a program to instruct robots to do tasks. Students are recommended to have a high interest in computer programming and focused on completing challenging tasks! Robotics Advanced/Gr. 3-5/$185/Monday/ 2:00 - 3:15 Instructor: Mrs. Beren This club is for advanced programmers with coding experience with Scratch, or previous robotics class at GRE or another institution. Students will utilize a program to instruct robots to do tasks. Students must have have a high interest in computer programming and focused on completing challenging tasks! Science Magic/Gr. K-2/$199/ Monday/ 2:00 - 3:15 Instructor: Ms. Morse & Ms. Davis Students will discover the wonder of science through amazing hands on experiments! Students will use the scientific process, make predictions, test hypothesis, and have a blast! SECME Science,Enginering,Communication,Math, & Enrichment/Gr. 3-5/$195/Tuesday 2:00 - 3:15/ Instructors: Mrs. Beren & Mrs. May This is a 1-year club committment that will also be our SECME team for the county competition in the spring! It will run for the fall and spring sessions of Gator Clubs. Attendees will concentrate on designing engineering projects, such as “Mousetrap” cars, and water powered bottle rockets from scratch. Students will also practice sportsmanship, and develop team spirit as they learn the rules of the game of volleyball!
