Gault Elementary
Gault school is a caring community that fosters respect, values diverse cultures and languages, and promotes positive school climate through the use of PBIS. We are a diverse population that is 70% Latino, 60% English Learner, and 72% Free and Reduced Lunch. Through a meaningful and appropriate curriculum, we work to ensure that all students experience continuous growth in academic and social skills in order to become complex thinkers, collaborative learners, and clear communicators. We do this through excellence in teaching, parent and community partnership, and guidance from our school district.

Teachers have different ways for students’ to track their progress.
In the younger grades students can earn stickers at the end of their day.
In 4th grade there are numbers on the wheels and students find the average, then they calculate if they made it to grade level work hard play hard.
Grade levels choose a targeted behavior to focus on.

The future and beyond…• Include assemblies and look for other ways to celebrate out
school wide success.
• Continue to look at SWIS Data to inform our decision making process, such as our yard duty zones.
• Continue to meet with our classified staff on a more regular basis.
• Working on the connection between PBIS and attendance.
• Continue to inform and educate parents about our PBIS program and how they can be involved.
