GBC AP2 Automated Binding Punch

Welcome to MyBinding presentation. This is a demonstration of the GBC AP2 Automated Binding Punch

The AP2 is as flexible as a manual punch, but because it is automatic it is a lot easier and faster to use

and it enables the operator to perform other tasks while the AP2 punches. The compact design of the AP2 takes up very little space and the AP2 can be moved near your printer or

other equipment on a built in stand with locking casters. A significant performance characteristic of this evolutionary

step forward is enhanced operator convenience.

Using the AP2 requires no special operator training. Its ergonomic design allows loading and unloading to be done

from one position,

which makes the AP2 very easy to use.

Die sets can be removed for accurate punching as paper sizes change and

whether you choose GBC plastic, Vellabind, twin loop, double wire, coil or 3 5 7 hole patterns,

changeovers require no tools and can be done in seconds enabling you to resume production quickly. For added

convenience,

the AP2 includes storage for 2 additional die sets. For unusual, difficult to run or curled paper,

the operator can adjust the number of sheets picked and vary the speed electronically to ensure that each sheet will be

perfectly punched.

If necessary, adjustments can be made electronically for heavily curled paper.

Whatever kind of paper you are punching, the pick feeder is designed to minimize any potential damage to the job.

Of course, the AP2 maintains the collation of the books during punching; making it easier for you to manage the volume of

materials you are called upon to turn out.

Covers can be collated with pages and punched continuously or they can be punched separately.

As an added benefit, side justifiers jog the punched paper to ready it for the binder. When the output stacker is full,

the AP2 automatically shuts off to prevent damage to your documents.
