Wiring LED with Breadboard• LEDs allow current to flow from the anode (positive, longer

end) to the cathode(negative, shorter end).

• Anode connects to the current source (a 5V digital signal).

• Cathode connects to the ground.

• The resistor can be inserted in on either side of the LED.

• Resistors are not polarized, orientation does not matter
