GCE AND SAFETY PROTECTIONSafety is always a primary concern in an oxygen/fuel process and GCE is fully committed to the elimination of all risks in this process. A �ashback is a very severe condition that happens when a back �re ignites the gases. In the worst case the ignited gas travels back through the equipment and into the gas cylinders causing an explosion with potentially fatal consequences.

By using GCE safety devices you can eliminate the danger a �ash back can cause. GCE Safe Guard products meet all the requirements of the European governing standard EN730-2 and the international standard ISO5175.

The principle behind the GCE Safe Guard safety system is to stop back �res as close to the torch handle as possible, to provide the operator with the best possible protection.

A GOOD SAFETY SOLUTION
As a minimum safety requirement, GCE recommend that �ashback arrestors (GCE Safe-Guard-3) are always �tted to the outlet of the regulator and that safety devices (GCE Safe-Guard-1) are �tted to the inlets of the torch. This applies to both the oxygen and the fuel gas supplies.
THE HIGHEST SAFETY SOLUTIONS
To achieve the highest possible level of protection GCE recommend that a GCE Safe-Guard-5 is �tted to the outlet of the regulator and that a GCE Safe-Guard-2 is �tted to the inlets of the torch. This again applies to both the oxygen and the fuel gas supplies.
