WHAT WILL I STUDY? Film studies will widen your appreciation and understanding of both British and US films. You will study film as a form of entertainment and explore how films are developed and financed. Your work will include analytical, creative work and research, and you will enjoy a variety of films. Film Studies will develop your critical skills and your ability to explore the connotations of film texts and how they reflect the world the film was made in

ASSESSMENT: 1 – Research & analytical coursework, 2 – Practical coursework. Two exam papers on British and US film.
