Students in Shannon Pillow’s classes at GCT Intermediate School have been learning to loom

knit. Students recycled soda bottles to use as yarn holders, placed the yarn bottles in their own yarn

tote and hung them on hooks on the backs of their chairs. The students could then pull the yarn from the bottles as they worked on either a scarf or a

hat. Ms. Ella Tabor proudly models her finished hat.
