foundation. The MAC family of resting ECG systems has beenknown to be one of the hardest-working in theindustry. With a trusted reputation for innovation. And a track record for performance. The MAC 3500upholds that name—and everything it implies.

GE and its affiliated companies have a strong history of innovation when itcomes to ECG.

How else would you describe over 40years of research and development?Ongoing collaboration with leadingconsulting cardiologists and physicians. To produce a fundamentally soundprogram that supports confident ECGanalysis and interpretation – ouradvanced Marquette* 12SL*.

As a matter of fact, hard at work is theperfect way to describe this additionto GE’s MAC* family of resting ECGanalysis systems. Ideal for basic 12-lead resting ECG analysis, the MAC3500 system delivers technology youneed to support reliable and accuratecardiac assessments. With a commoninterface and intuitive operation thatsets the groundwork for increasedproductivity and efficiency. All contained in an affordable and reliable electrocardiograph unit.

So that your work is easier.

– right choice. With the MAC 3500, you get the strength of our MarquetteECG analysis programs. It’s the same technology that’s foundthroughout our family of ECG analysis systems, providing youwith consistent measurement and interpretation.

These programs continue to be a preferred choice of hospitals, clinics, physician offices and clinical researchorganizations for their uncompromising quality and reliability:

• Marquette 12SL ECG simultaneous 12-lead ECG analysisprogram for adults and pediatrics – one of the industry’smost clinically validated programs.

• Marquette Hookup Advisor* signal quality analysis program reviews and measures ECG waveforms for signs of artifact and interference, helping to avoid poor waveform quality during the recording of ECGs.

• Marquette 12SL with Gender-Specific Interpretation makes detecting acute myocardial infarction (MI) easier in women.

Extensive customization of displayand final-report formatting accommodates user preferences.Security protocols and user-configurable password protectionhelp to address HIPAA requirements.

• Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) Algorithm implemented inthe MAC 3500 has been shown to improve the sensitivity ofemergency physicians’ interpretation of acute myocardialinfarction by 50% and cardiologists’ interpretations by26%, with no loss of specificity.1 The new ACS algorithmalso improved the emergency physician’s acute ischemicsyndrome interpretation sensitivity by 53%, while maintaining a specificity of 91%1.

• Configurable critical values can speed triage and time totreatment for patients at high risk of cardiac events withonscreen and printed notifications. Additionally, the featurecan help support your facility’s patient safety goals andthe Joint Commission’s reporting requirements throughconsistent reporting of critical conditions.

The rest is easy.Need to train your entire staff? Sure.

Thinking of expanding to ECG management? No problem.

With GE, you can relax. The next steps are all taken care of.

• Optional communications package allows you to tap intothe power of GE’s MUSE* cardiology information system, for streamlined workflow and higher functionality.

• Barcode reader option enables orders or ADT demographicdata download to help reduce patient data entry time anderrors by automating the process.

• CEU credits support your professional career. (U.S. only)

From training to connectivity and service, GE Healthcare has the resources, technologyand commitment to support you all the way.
