GEAR MM 02 Retrofit for Gear Tester Instruments

Gear MM 02 is a program that, equipped with aHardware comprising two transducers linear positionand a Detecting Head analogical, responsive to movement in the direction allows the reconditioning of equipment for the control gear.The machine is completed by a calculation unit and a printer for issuing certificates testing.

SOFTWARE DESCRIPTION GEAR MM 02

This software allows you to perform control of the involute of the side of a gear cylindrical straight or helical teeth.

MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE

Select New from the menù· File· Select the menu FILE -> New· Enter the parameters of the teeth to be checked in the mirror in the Figure.

3.1.1 WINDOW DETECTION1. Reading Tool transducer analog, displays the position of the sensor relative to its rest position, the read range and 'of + - 0.5mm

3.4 RELEASE OF THE CERTIFICATESelect the Print option from the menu 'File.

3.5 SAVE GEARSelect the Save or Save As from the menù File, then enter the name that identifies the gear. All parameters and the graph will be stored.

3.6 SAVING IN IMAGE FORMATSelect Save PCX image menù File, then enter the name identifies the gear, you will get a bitmap file format PCX representing the test certificate.

3.7 MODIFY OF PARAMETERS DISPLAY AND EVALUATIONSelect the item from the menu edit -> parameters graphic, the window:

MARKING OF THE POSITIONS ALONG THE INVOLUTE AND PROPELLER

Selecting the menu item Edit -> Markingwindow will appear in the figure.

3.9 AREA OF TOLERANCE (DIAGRAM K)

MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE

SET UP MACHINE

Enter in the "CMM SETUP"- Enter the value "zero" o�set Zero (mm) in the control LVDT- Place the LVDT until an equilibrium position indicated by the red lines in the indicators of the measurement window. (The small numerical di�erence between the electronic and the mechanical zero is correggge entering the value number detected in the square indicated.- Install the master cylinder in the car with his hard base (diam. 45 mm)- Make the zero of the transducer while folding the disc according to the lineal and bring into contact with the probe for resettingthe master cylinder; done that block the LVDT.- Install drive gear with its master disc base (diameter 187.4 mm)- Make measuring the master checking the outputs of the pro�les and f.dx f.sx must be mirrored.- If they are not the same need to make a correction in the "CCM SETUP" line in the O�set zero mm (XZB) in line X for the pro�le. eg. value x output tooth side dx = 43.8 x value output tooth side sx = 49.9 (43.8 + 49.9) = 93.7 / 2 = 46,85 mm correction value is = 49, 9 to 46.85 = 3.05 mm to be added or subtracted in the window (O�set zero mm (XZB) rigaoZ O�set is zero mm = 1 mm- All other values are not to be changed.
