I want to start out by wishing all of you a very happy and safe 4th of July Holiday. I hope as many of you as possible have a 3 day weekend to enjoy this special holiday for all of us in America. To those of you who have to work, especially police, fire, 911 staff, nurses and doctors….thank you for what you do. ALSO a BIG THANK you to all our Military Forces who will be manning their posts around the world. Thank you for keeping us safe this holiday weekend.

Speaking of safe, please be safe when your are out this weekend. PLEASE no drinking and driving…BUCKLE UP!! No texting and driving either. Read the chart on this page and read it again! Your car is not a phone booth! Nothing is that important…especially your life or

July 8th is this years National Collector Car Appreciation day. This is the day the U. S. Government has set aside to recognize all facets of our hobby/sport/ passion. There are so many versions from car shows to racing and lots in-between too. What are you or your club doing to celebrate this year? At the request of the SEMA Action Network (SAN), this “holiday” has been marked each year since 2010 by a U.S. Senate Resolution recognizing that the “collection and restoration of historic and classic cars is an important part of preserving the technological achievements and cultural heritage of the United States.” As this annual event continues to grow worldwide, states, provinces, counties and cities are following suit with their own recognition.
