Gediminas Taranda known worldwide for his theatrical works, plays and performances, as

well as an active social position. Over the last 20 years, he has been artistic director of the

ballet company "Imperial Russian Ballet", deservedly gained popularity and recognition

around the world.

Gediminas first fame was due to work at the Bolshoi Theater, becoming its lead soloist and

after the organization of "Imperial Russian Ballet" behind it its fame as a talented

choreographer. Currently, the troupe has toured extensively; it is applauded and admired

from viewers around the world.
