accomplishments since starting with us as a sales trainee in August of 1984.As a result of her sales skills, dedication and her ability to build client
satisfaction, she was quickly promoted to various positions here at HersheyBusiness Products.
After proving herself as a sales person~e promoted her to program manager.She had the responsibility for coorainating all marketing programs from our
manufacturers to our branch managers. She worked closely with the
manufacturers to tie in their programs with Hershey and developed programs to
insure their successful implementation. She also developed and implemented
our 800 number supplies telemarketing program and managed the people directly
responsible for our supplies program. While working as a program manager
Barbara also designed, implemented and managed our continuing education and
new hire sales training programs. She did an excellent job as a trainer and a
manager of our sales training program. It was very successful, and themanufacturers we represent said we had the best sales training program of any
organization that they worked with. We are still using this program today.
In 1988 we saw an opportunity to expand our facsimile business and asked
Barbara to take responsibility for managing the facsimile program. She was
responsible for all aspects of the marketing program and the sales
representatives in each branch office. In addition to managing the sales
representatives and the facsimile program we gave her the responsibility forbranch administration and the branch administrative personnel. Her job was to
staff the branches for branch support and to train them on corporate
procedures. Because of her attention to detail and follow through she wasable to significantly improve our branch administrative operations.
Barbara has always taken her responsibilities very seriously worked hard and
followed through. As a result of her achievements we promoted her to branchmanager in January of 1989. In this position she was responsible for all
marketing activities and personnel in our Santa Ana branch office.
She has done an excellent job on a very fast track at our company. We are
