Assignment 2 Reflection
1. Describe your strengths and weaknesses giving explicit textual examples.
Strengths:Three key strengths come to mind when researching and writing my narrative.
First, I began my research with thinking about a topic. I struggled as well as excelled inthis, as I went from researching the Affordable Care Act (ACA) to Generation Y. I didextensive research on the ACA before deciding to research my generation, GenerationY. My topic choice is very relevant and current in the professional workforce. Secondly, Iprovided many personal stories and interviews within my paper. I talked with youngprofessionals about their personal and professional goals. I was able to connect with
them below the surface level and genuinely become interested in their passions andinterests. This was extremely important because Gen Y is known for more than theircareers; they are very balanced in all aspects of life. And finally, throughout the paper Iwas able to state opinions of both parties and maintained neutral in the conversation, byproviding research and my observations and personal conversations with youngprofessionals.
Weaknesses:Weaknesses are just as important as strengths. My weaknesses when
completing this paper were structure and organization. I had difficulty organizing mypaper so it transitioned from topics smoothly. With a lot of re-reading, I organized mypaper into four questions and inserted personal stories with those questions. Dividingthe paper into four main questions divided the paper into categories so the reader mayunderstand different aspects of Generation Y.
2. Describe what comments were helpful/ not helpful from your peer responders andexplain how you incorporated the feedback or why you chose not to use some ofthe feedback. Again, give explicit textual examples cited from the actualfeedback.
I received very informative and good ideas from my group members. Overall, they were
very much interested in the topic of Generation Y. They asked me to insert a hyperlink of a map
of uptown and include more specific definitions for Generation X and the Baby Boomers. I didtake their advice and have included both items to go above and beyond. Also, I included smart
art graphics to visualize and represent the different generations. I would like for my group next
time to tell me if the paper is organized and easy to understand. I would really like to know how
I could improve on the structure and transitions in my paper, but I am content with my teamsadvice.

3. Explain what aspect of the paper you want me to pay particular attention to andwhy.
Its very important to understand the four basic questions I ask about Generation Y.These questions divide the paper, so the audience may understand all about Gen Y.
Also, I have visualizations in my paper to represent all of the different generations,
including- Generation Y, Generation X, and the Baby Boomers. Lastly, I discuss in detailabout specific brain changes we undergo in our 20s and the development of thousandsof new neurons. This section is my favorite, as it took a lot of research and the resultsare astounding. As a young professional myself, this section is more interesting andvery important to grasp.
