CEnTRiFUGaL WaTER FiLTRaTion

The Multicyclone Ultra has all the benefits of the ever popular Multicyclone with the addition of a 75ft2 cartridge filter located in the upper housing. Incoming water enters the hydrocylones tangentially, generating a strong centrifugal effect. The sediment particles are then spun out to the hydro cyclone’s wall, and spiral down into the sediment chamber. The filtered water then migrates towards the centre of the hydro cyclone where the water reverses and spirals upwards and through a 75ft2 cartridge element before exiting the Multicyclone Plus. The addition of the cartridge element provides the highest standard of filtration possible with very little need for cleaning. The majority of the sediment is removed by the hydrocyclones. The sediment level can be visually monitored through the Multicyclones clear sediment bowl. The pressure gauge located at the top of the unit indicates when the cartridge requires cleaning. The cartridge can easily be removed by undoing the locking ring.

Incoming water enters hydro cyclones tangentially, generating a strong centrifugal effect. The sediment is spun out to the hydro cyclone’s wall, and then spirals down to the sediment chamber. The filtered water migrates towards the centre of the hydro cyclone where the flow reverses and spirals upwards through the outlet.Accumulation of sediment can be visibly monitored through the MultiCyclone’s clear sediment chamber.

The MultiCyclone is easily cleaned by opening the valve. Only 15 litres of water is discharged to cleanse the MultiCyclone.

MultiCyclone is easy to install and fits to most existing filtration systems. There are no moving parts to wear out and replace and it’s backed by Waterco’s 2 year warranty.

The MultiCyclone Commercial is a new addition to the MultiCyclone range. Although very different in appearance to the previously released models, this unit still has all the water and energy saving benefits of the standard MultiCyclone model. Specifically designed for commercial installations, the MultiCyclone Commercial has 4 ” / 110mm ports and uses 70 cyclones allowing it to function with a flow rate of 90m³/hr.

The debris can be seen through the clear sight glass and flushed out of the purge valve.
