LHC Premier: Walk a Mile

The LHC Premier class of 2019 experienced the United Way’s “Walk a Mile Experience”during their October session. Participants assumed the role of a family member living ator near the poverty line and faced their difficult decisions and challenges whileovercoming the lack of resources and confusing support system.

LU Project Group, LIV4TMRW, will be hosting a Teen Depression & Suicide Preventiondiscussion on November 8, from 7–8:30 p.m. at Oakland Mills High School. This freeevent is open to the public and aims to increase awareness of teen depression andsuicide and to share information about resources available in our community.
