Is the art of using solely power of the wind to navigate a sea vessel.In its early beginnings, sailing was a basic skill necessary for navigating war, commercial and tourist ships. For most people today, sailing is a very popular recreational and fun sport.

• 1876. first sailing club in ex Yu founded on Krk• 1928. Saling Club “VAL” founded in

Sibenik• 1957. first nautical marina built in Biograd and

first charter fleet founded

• 10 olympic sailing disciplines• 6 olympic disciplines in which Croatia is

participating• 4 Croatian representatives are among first 10

in the World• In the last 3 years, our sailors won medals in all

PreOlympic World and European competitions
