Burial Services

GENERAL PRICE LIST These prices are effective as of May 11, 2020

and are subject to change without notice.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You

may choose items a la carte, however, any funeral arrangements you select will

include a charge for overhead and professional staff services. If legal or other

requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will

explain the reasons in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral

goods and services you selected. This list does not include prices for certain items that you may ask us to buy for you,

such as cemetery fees, flowers, newspaper obituaries, etc. The price for those items

will be shown on your bill or statement describing the funeral goods and services you

selected.

PROFESSIONAL & STAFF SERVICES SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR & STAFF*…………………….…$1,995.00 Our fee for the service of funeral directors and staff include, but are not limited to: staff

response to initial request for service (available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year),

arrangement conference with family or responsible party, arrangement of funeral,

preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits, entering vital statistics and

ordering certified copies of death certificates, preparation and placement of obituary

notices, staff assistance prior to, during and following the funeral, including coordination

with those providing other portions of the service, e.g. cemetery, crematory and others.

Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as

insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and

equipment and inventory expenses. *This fee for our basic services will be added to the total cost of the funeral

arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for all the package

selections, direct cremation, immediate burial, and forwarding or receiving remains).

EMBALMING………………………………………………………………….$475.00 Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be

necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with

viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an

arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as a direct cremation or

immediate burial. Refrigeration and/or embalming is required if the remains are held

longer than 24 hours.

According to 37.116.03 Administrative Rules of Montana, a body “en route

more than 8 hours, or if the termination of common carrier transport occurs more than 36

hours after the time of death must be either embalmed of refrigerated at 35 degrees F or

colder” or “when being transported by a private conveyor and the body will not reach it’s

destination within 48 hours after the time of death, must be either embalmed or

refrigerated at 35 degrees F or colder.”

RECEIVING REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME…………$1,795.00

This charge includes: transportation of remains from local airport (within 20 mile radius)

to our facility, temporary sheltering of remains, staff and transportation to cemetery for

committal. It does not include staff services or facilities for viewing or funeral

ceremonies.

FORWARDING REMAINS TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME………….$1,895.00

This includes: basic services of funeral director and staff, removal of deceased from place

of death, embalming, preparing and filing necessary permits and authorizations, gathering

vital statistics for the death certificate, arrangements for transportation.

*The forwarding of remains fee does not include staff services and facilities for

viewing or funeral ceremonies at our funeral home of other facilities, casket,

shipping container, costs of transportation and transfer to the airport.

IMMEDIATE BURIALS………………………….………….….$1,695.00 - $11,785.00

This charge includes: basic services of funeral director and staff, removal of deceased

from place of death, washing, disinfection and special care with no embalming,

refrigeration, transportation to cemetery with no family or friends present. If you select a

immediate burial there may be cemetery requirements.

**The burial casket and outer burial container are not included.

This charge includes: basic services of funeral director and staff, removal of deceased

from the place of death, necessary sanitary care with no embalming, refrigeration,

transportation to crematory. If you select a direct cremation, the crematory requires a

cremation container that encases the body for the cremation process. Cremation

containers are made of combustible materials like fiberboard or composition materials. A

choice of cremation containers will be provided for your selection.

**The cremation container and cremation procedure are not included.

to surround the casket in a grave. However, many cemeteries require that you have such a container so the grave will not sink in. Either a grave box or a burial

vault will satisfy these requirements.

protective value of certain caskets or outer burial containers, other than those made by the manufacturer. The only warranties expressed or implied, granted in conjunction with

goods sold with this funeral home service are the express written, if any, extended by the manufacturers thereof. No other warranties of merchandising fitness for a particular

product are product are extended by the seller.
