Key ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will act as the charity’s data lead, responsible for the quality of data held by Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust and the prompt, accurate and compliant processing of it by:

Improving the data held on supporters, activities and performance, and enhance the use to support income generation;

Increasing our efficiency through improving systems and processes and enhancing the use of the database and other tools.

AuthorityThe Database and Insight Manager will report to Business Intelligence Manager.

Meeting attendance may include (this list is not exhaustive)

Principle Accountabilities of the Role

1. Manage, oversee and improve the functionality, performance, use of and development of a new CRM system, and related processes eg data import.

2. Create insightful reports using the charity’s data for the use of colleagues and for reporting to the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees.

3. Improve automation of relevant processes and the integration of systems across the charity.

4. Improve the charity’s use of data to monitor, track and improve performance.5. Provide oversight of relevant data imports, exports, and submissions e.g. Gift Aid claims.6. To lead on the analysis of data collected by Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust, including our

existing storage of data, and developing future data collection analysis.7. Advising on data/analysis issues, including the setting up a data collection structure for

our new digital platform.8. To contribute to the development, and analysis of datasets, including working with

external collaborators.9. Oversee all aspects of ICT, improving use of tools and managing our ICT support contact.10. Ensure the charity’s compliance with all legislation and guidance related to data,

including GDPR, data protections, information security and the Fundraising Regulator Code of Conduct

11. Act as the charity’s Data Protection Officer12. Training colleagues in the use of charity systems and data13. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to make the best use of

your skills, and help them make the best use of theirs.

Qualifications, training &

Degree or Postgraduate level qualification in a numerate discipline, including statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, data science or similar discipline or comparable experience.

Experience of supporting a fundraising & PR team.

Experience of using a fundraising database for data selection, segmentation and analysis.
