How to Generate and Manage Passcodes

How PassCodes Work

• Generate– Generate PassCodes from your OAC to distribute to your client or individual students to

bypass payment requirements during enrollment. – Create one passcode and associate that passcode to a specific course or “Any” course.

– Create up to 50 PassCodes at a time and associate that passcode to a course or “Any” course.

– If you associate a PassCode to a specific course, the passcode is valid for that specific course.

– If you associate a PassCode to “Any” course, the passcode is valid for any course.– You can set the expiration date.– PassCodes are emailed to you and you can then email the code to your student.

• Redeem– Students redeem the passcode at the OIC. They choose the course associated to the

passcode and use the PassCode during enrollment.– Once a student enters a PassCode they are placed on your Roster as a verified student.

– You will only be invoiced for passcodes students use.

• Track– Track PassCodes generated and used at you OAC.

Create Passcodes

1. If you work with a Company or Organization enter that name here. If this does not apply simply type none or NA.

4. Passcode Type a. Student - Use

Student when enrolling a student. You are invoiced when the passcode is used.

b. Evaluation - Use Evaluation if someone within your organization needs to evaluate a course. You are not be invoiced.

5. This is the number of passcodes you would like to generate.

6. Now choose the course to associate to a passcode.

7. Choose the number of months the PassCode is valid.

8. Enter Your Name

9. Enter Your Email Address

10. Create Passcode – The PassCode(s) are generated and displayed once you click Create Passcode. The PassCode(s) are

emailed to you as well.
