Generation Z… What is it?

Generation Z is the generation that came after Generation Y(A generation born and raised on technology)

Pros and Cons

Pro-Generation Z will be more knowledgeable of world events due to technology.

Con-Generation Z will rely to much on technology and will ultimately lose many basic human characteristics like social skills, survival skills

Pro-Generation Z will a have better connection with people outside of the United States

Con-Technology will take over the work place thus leaving many jobless

Y or X?

Although this PowerPoint wasn’t made to compare generations I feel that this topic will be brought up later in the future so I should just bring it up now.

Generation Y while reliant on technology does not need it for everything. Most people from Gen Y have social skills, and or basic human skills. While people from Gen Z don’t and never will.

Technology… Then and Now

If your from Generation X or Generation Y. Well to you the iPhone was amazing. To people from Generation Z this is everyday life. Things that amaze you doesn’t amaze them. This simpily means they are to used to technology. Stats show that 76% of American children have or use the internet. They spend up to 14 hours a week watch TV. And spend 5 hours a week on the internet.

What can you do?

Nothing. You cant stop the rapid growth of technology. Everyday people come up with new ideas… Some for entertainment, some for war, and some for fun. Regardless of you you do to stop it the children of Generation Z will experience the rapid growth of technology.

As Carl Sagan said “All of the books in the world contain no more information than is broadcast as video in a single large American city in a single year. Not all bits have equal value”
