Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center Facebook & Instagram Editorial Calendar – June 1st- June 30th, 2016

This Month’s Series

Teamwork Tuesdays (4) A new series that will be continued throughout the year on the camp’s social media platforms. This series will focus on teamwork, which is an important value to Genesee Valley. This series will feature inspiring pictures taken from teamwork exercises that occur during camp activities.

This series will utilize the hashtag #TeamworkTuesdays.

Campfire Fan Photo Fridays (4) A new series that will be continued throughout the primary months of summer (June, July, and August). This series will seek engagement from Facebook followers by asking for camp or team photos. This photo series represents a mini-contest that Genesee Valley will run for followers to get their photos featured.

This series will use the hashtag #FanPhotoFridays.

Discovery Moments (3) A new series that will be continued throughout the year on the camp’s social media platforms. This series will focus on major moments of discovery that campers and teams experience. Since inspirational quotes receive good traction across social media, this series will aim to drive likes and shares from followers on Facebook and Instagram.

This series will utilize the hashtag #DiscoveryMoment.

Sow&Grow (Celebrating National Fruits & Vegetables Month) (3) This special series will be featured for the month of June. It will focus on Genesee Valley’s environmental education program and highlight the special grounds that the facility utilizes.

The hashtag #Sow&Grow will serve as a double statement for the environment as well as the personal growth experienced at Genesee Valley.

ForeverFriends (Celebration of Best Friend Day on June 8th) (2) This special series will be featured for the month of June. It will focus on the friendships that are built at Genesee Valley. Friendship is an important value at Genesee Valley and this series will highlight the role that friend’s play in helping overcome challenges and reach goals.

This series will use the hashtag #ForeverFriends and serve to generate engagement from Facebook and Instagram followers.
