In partnership with its members, UICC is committed to delivering the 11 targets of the World Cancer Declaration by 2020.

UICC aims to work in partnership to eliminate cancer for future generations by taking the lead in:

Uniting the cancer control community - convening global events such as World Cancer Day, World Cancer Leaders’ Summit and the World Cancer Congress.

Putting cancer on the global health agenda - campaigning and pressing governments to support the fight against cancer by implementing better health policies.

Coordinating high-impact global programmes - when there is an identified need for an international approach to tackling issues, UICC takes the lead, working with partners across all continents.
