Would you enter a world of an unnecessary  killing

Genocide  Dare you enter a world of mass killing?

War does not determine who is right - only who is left. ~Bertrand RussellA great war leaves the country with three armies - an army of cripples, an army of mourners, and an army of thieves. ~German ProverbThe most persistent sound which reverberates through men's history is the beating of war drums. ~Arthur Koestler, Janus: A Summing UpEvery gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron. ~Dwight D. Eisenhower, speech, American Society of Newspaper Editors, 16 April 1953

Genocide It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets. ~Voltaire, War         Genocide is mass killing, it is war. It  is  the deaths of millions. Yet it is allowed because people believe its the right thing to do. Maybe it is, but not in my eyes. Genocide kills million, and injures the entire world at heart.      We saw the whole world closing their eyes and ears, leaving us alone to thugs and gangsters. Then genocide took away a million people in a 100 days.http://www.quotesea.com/quotation/Wesawthewholeworldclosingtheireyesand

My Perfect Little World    In my perfect little world, people greet, they kiss and hug each time they meet. Friends hold hands, and calm your fears; they stick around to wipe your tears. But in the world today, we just don’t care, and showing love is somewhat rare. When times are fun all friends are near, then things get tough and most disappear. In my perfect little world, we give and share; we make it a point, to show we care. We live to love, and love to live, and find it easy to forgive. But in the world today we strive on greed, and crave the things we rarely need. We step on others to get our way,and hurt with what we do or say. In my perfect little world, children smile, and parents go that extra mile. No child is ever harmed or hurt, abused or treated just like dirt. But in the world today most people cry, and only pray in case they die. We’ve given in to all that’s bad, and then complain that life is hard. In my perfect little world were all the same and life is not a spiteful game. People are loyal, honest and just, and value the gift of friendship and trust. But in the world today it seems,we’ve lost all hope or goals and dreams. Malicious acts are seen as witty,I think it’s sad and such a pity.    by Gabrielle Llambias 09

My Opinion on mass killing (Genocide)

I've heard of the world needing balance, but millions of people die of being to old, or even of a sickness every day. So why is it there are people in this world who kill more then what is necessary, to keep this world in balance? Why is it this world always seems to be on the rage of war, even the rage of death? My opinion is that we take our lives, and change them into peace, instead of filth and hatred. I believe that with one step at a time this world could enter a world of peace, because in the world today we don't need mass killing. We can live better lives without genocide.

How we could stop genocide.

I believe that this world could live in peace if we all lived along the lines of life, which mean the circle of life. If we all let nature take its course, not guns, and knives, in the rage of war there is only one thing that truely is acomplished, death. Like a show I once watched (Gundamseed) said " If someone kills for revange, and then is killed for being a killer, then when will this world ever be in peace?" That truly is the truth of the matter, yes war can take back countries but it can't take away the pain. So what do we do? We grow up and make compromise to solve the disagreement. We step up to the plate and say, "Yeah I did this, but now I'm going to fix it." This is what we must do.

Rwanada The Rwandan Genocide was the 1994 mass killing of an estimated 800,000 people. Over the course of approximately 100 days from the assassination of Juvénal Habyarimana on April 6 through mid-July, at least 800,000 people were killed, according to a Human Rights Watch estimate.[1] Other estimates of the death toll have ranged between 500,000 and 1,000,000 [2] (a commonly quoted figure is 800,000) or as much as 20% of the country's total population. In 1990, a rebel group composed mostly of Tutsi refugees called the Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) invaded northern Rwanda from Uganda. The Rwandan Civil War, fought between the Hutu regime, with support from Francophone nations of Africa and France itself,[3][4] and the RPF, with support from Uganda, vastly increased the ethnic tensions in the country and led to the rise of Hutu Power. As an ideology, Hutu Power asserted that the Tutsi intended to enslave Hutus and must be resisted at all costs. Despite continuing ethnic strife, including the displacement of large numbers of Hutu in the north by the rebels and periodic localized extermination of Tutsi to the south, pressure on the government of Juvénal Habyarimana resulted in a cease-fire in 1993 and the preliminary implementation of the Arusha Accords. The assassination of Habyarimana in April 1994 was the proximate cause of the mass killings of Tutsis and pro-peace Hutus. The mass killings were carried out primarily by two Hutu militias associated with political parties: the Interahamwe and the Impuzamugambi. The genocide was directed by a Hutu power group known as the Akazu. The mass killing also marked the end of the peace agreement meant to end the war, and the Tutsi RPF restarted their offensive, eventually defeating the army and seizing control of the country. Genocide

In this presentation, I talked about war and how it's the main genocide in society. Even though there are many more, such as terriorism, gang killing,  war is the genocide that is mainly discussed in the world today. It is also the main thing that takes our peace. Genocide is mass killing against a race or religion.  I say let's all stand together and do something to stop mass killing. Let's all stop Genocide!!!
