construct a resume with certain criteria to "resent to the em"loyer#inter$iewer %he resume is the

the com"any A well&written resume, as well as a well&'ualified em"loyee, builds a strong

relationshi" between them and the com"any and a great first im"ression A resume discusses the

'ualities a "erson "ossesses( skills, "ast e)"eriences, education, ob*ecti$es %hese are the "oints

that "itch oneself to the com"any A resume that connects to a com"any’s standards creates a

relationshi" between the em"loyee and the em"loyer %he language utili+ed is "ersuasi$e

e"ending on the section of the resume, the "ersuasion can be short and sweet or long and

detailed %he main goal is to "ersuade the em"loyer to hire the "otential em"loyee %he way a

resume is written is *ust as im"ortant as the 'ualities written in the resume A resume is used to

sell oneself and "ersuade the em"loyer to hire them

A resume consists of a basic set of criteria that e)"lains who someone is and what skills

they ha$e to offer to the com"any A basic resume consists of an o$er$iew of "ast work

e)"erience, education achie$ements, strengths, 'ualifications for the *ob, and occasionally

 "ersonal achie$ements outside of work and school Anything that relates directly to the "osition

is em"hasi+ed more than the others -enerally, each criteria is e)"lained in a short and sweet

manner, but detailed enough to make sure the em"loyer understands what one is ca"able of and

whether or not they are 'ualified for the "osition .ersuasion within the resume comes from

em"hasi+ing the main skills that 'ualify oneself for the "osition and elaborating on those skills

more than the others Also, by making sure the "ositi$es o$erride any negati$es "resent, the first

im"ression would more than likely be stronger than if the negati$es were e'ually described as

the "ositi$es %he criteria within a resume is normally a basic set and the same for e$eryone, but

the em"hasis and elaboration on 'ualities that are "ositi$e and related the the desired "osition

determines the 'uality of the resume as a whole and creates a stronger relationshi" with the

 "otential em"loyee and em"loyer .ersuasion is the key
