TRANSCRIPT

  • The number 17 is in red connoting that the age 17

may be dangerous. It also symbolises a typical

American high school red and white.

He is still wearing his tie showing

that even though he is a teenager

he still has some form of maturity

    and authority.

He is also carrying a red bag suggesting being 17 again

wont be as fun as it was the first time.

The protagonists name is next to the title so

it is clear and visible also the name Efron

is in bold writing showing it is important

and people are more likely to remember

    the name Efron.

The white background shows that the film has

a light and funny side suggesting it could be a

    comedy

The tagline stands out against the white background.

Also it is above the protagonist and is like he is proving

    a point .

The realise date is in red making it

stand out and the realise date is on the

1th making a connection with the film

    17 again

  • The title is in big clear writing automatically

drawing your attention. It looks like graphite

and vandalism is a stereotype for teenagers.

Also in the title there is little holes suggesting

it could be a mystery type show and wont be

as straight forward as you expect.

Orange jump suits implying that they have

committed a crime this could connect with

    the title and vandalism.

The lightening suggests that it isn't a happy

light show and that things are going to get bad,

also you can see the lightening is coming from

the title which could symbolise their crimes

suggesting that the crime they have committed

    has created bigger problems.

The flats in the background could symbolise

a rough estate which stereotypically more

    crime takes place.

The guy in middle is wearing a orange jump suit like the rest but he is standing normally his body language doesn't seem defensive and

closed off unlike the others he also wears a pink and black t-shirt under is jumpsuit showing he is an open guy and has nothing to hide

unlike the others. Who look guilty and defensive.

  • They have linked this movie with other successful

films to catch your attention and people who are

fans of the films mentioned. They have also made

the writing red which is a symbol of royalty.

    She is wearing headphones showing

that she is still a typical teenager

The protagonist is wearing sunglasses sug-

gesting she could be embarrassed and is

trying to hide her face or she is unsure of

who she wants to be and her identity.

The lady behind the protagonist looks graceful

and royal the way she is standing behind the

protagonist like she is watching over her and

keeping her in line. She is also wearing the

    colour purple which symbolises royalty.

She is wearing a drown and a lot of

    jewellery suggesting she is extremely

    wealthy and could be royalty.

This tagline implies that she is going to do it

quickly and be done with it. A lot of teenagers

listen to rock music this could be why it says

she rocks and she is now part of a royal family

so she rules it then says she reigns this

could imply she doesn't want to be royal wants

    it to be over with.

The font is in red which symbolises

    red.

  • The colour red symbolises royalty

    and also danger suggesting the

engagement is not a good idea.

In the first princess diaries the tagline was she rocks

she rules, she resigns the tagline is connecting the

first one with the second one it also suggests she

spent the first film preparing for a royal life and she is

now ready. It is also linking back to the storyline

royal engagement and referring to the wedding ring

    as the rock.

In the first princess diaries she is wearing the sunglasses as if

she is embarrassed and hiding. In this one we see she is

wearing them on her head suggesting she is still unsure but

is getting more comfortable with her role. It also looks like

the crown will replace the glasses so she has to decode what

    she wants.

She looks unsure about the situation

and is unsure what she wants. And if

you look at both animals either side of

her you can see they look unsure as

    well.

In the first princess diaries poster the same lady is standing

behind her suggesting she is looking after her and keeping

her out of trouble and on this poster she is still behind her

and is holding the ring showing she is more happy about the

wedding and suggesting it is an arranged marriage .

from the directors of this draws more attention to

the movie and gives it attention from people who

are fans of the films mentioned such as e.g. pretty

    woman
