The Piedmont Region

This region is the home of the state capital, “Raleigh.” This has the government for the whole state. You will find cities in this region including Charlotte, the biggest city in NC, and many more wonderful cities.

The Coastal Plain Region

In the Coastal Plain region, you can go to wonderful beaches including Carolina and Wrightsville beaches. Some exotic locations there are in this region are NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher, the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, the Battleship of NC and many more locations.
