GEORGE EZRA – BLAME IT ON ME The artist is hidden within the crowd and is very hard to notice. This could be because there is so much chaos going on in the picture, that the artist is simply not important and people looking at the cover will easily miss him. The title text is very simple as it has a fairly standard font design and colour scheme. Ezra’s name is three times the size of the album because Ezra is a very popular indie artist, so people may not be as familiar with the song names as opposed to the artist’s name, therefore the designers of the cover have made the artist’s name bigger to make it more recognisable. This album cover has a very simple and indie look to it as there are no expensive effects and no complex or abstract art. It is simply a crowd causing chaos with the artist stuck in the middle of it. It also has a lively feeling to it as most of the people on the cover are smiling and are wearing a variety of clothing (a mixture of grey, brown, blue and red) that makes the cover look more vibrant. It is easy to notice that the album cover corresponds with the target audience which is young adults. This is because the majority of the people on the cover are teenagers and some people are portrayed on the cover as causing trouble such as the boy with the drinks about to spill them because of the tight spaces and the man with the megaphone attempting to organise the crowd.

GEORGE EZRA – BLAME IT ON ME

The artist is hidden within the crowd and is very hard to notice.
