Ausmex Mining Group Limited ACN 148 860 299 T | (02) 8315 3268 A | Level 13/50 Carrington Street, Sydney NSW 2000 E | [email protected] 13 March 2018 ASX MARKET RELEASE GEOSCIENCE AUSTRALIA’S AUSLAMP* PROGRAM HAS IDENTIFIED A LARGE CONDUCTIVE TARGET UNDER THE AUSMEX TENEMENT PACKAGE AT BURRA, SOUTH AUSTRALIA, WHICH IS SIMILAR IN APPEARANCE TO THAT ASSOCIATED WITH THE WORLD CLASS IOCG DEPOSIT AT OLYMPIC DAM. Ø The AusLAMP* exploration program conducted by Geoscience Australia, University of Adelaide, & the Geological Survey of South Australia has identified a large conductive structure below Ausmex’s Exploration Licence suite at Burra. Ø Conductive structures of similar magnitude to that below Burra have also been identified by the AusLAMP program in the Gawler under the World Class IOCG deposits at Olympic Dam, Carrapateena and Prominent Hill. Ø Olympic Dam, Carrapeteena, Prominent Hill and Burra are all located within the highly prospective G2 Corridor. Ø The conductive target may indicate a large source of the known Burra High Grade Cobalt, Copper and Gold mineralisation. Ø Ausmex strategically applied for and was awarded 4 additional Exploration Licences (ELs 6101, 6102, 6103 and 6116) to cover the known extent of the large conductive structure. Ø The new Exploration Licences complement and interface with Ausmex’s original EL 5881 and the ELs that are subject to the Option Agreement with PNX (Refer to ASX release 07 August 2017). Ø Ausmex has a current application, ELA 2018/00022 to the south, known as Riverton, which is under consideration by the SA department. Ø These 4 additional ELs total 3033 sq. kms, which when added to AMG’s EL 5881 and the ELs that are the subject of the PNX Option Agreement total 4,722 sq. kms. The Riverton ELA would add a further 999 sq. kms. when granted as an EL. For personal use only
