A young child’s daily diet should include a variety of fruits and vegetables. However, according to Nestlé’s 2008 Feeding Infants and Toddlers Study (FITS), about 25 percent of older infants, toddlers and preschoolers don’t eat a single serving of fruit on a given day, and 30 percent don’t eat a single serving of vegetables.
