• A preposition is a word that shows the relationship of a noun or a pronoun to some other word in the sentence

• Prepositions point out different relationships

Prepositional Phrase

• A preposition always introduces a phrase consisting of the preposition, any modifiers and a noun or pronoun.

• The noun or pronoun that ends the prepositional phrase is called the object of the preposition.
