FAST! This strategy alone has helped my clients and students generate millions in sales.

How Were These Campaigns Created?

The funny thing is… I kinda discovered this strategy by following someone into the restroom. Totally

strange, right? I’ll get to that part in a bit but... This strategy was created years and years ago when I

went to a 3-day mastermind group in Las Vegas where I paid over $5,000 to attend. This mastermind

group had 20 of the nation’s ELITE marketing minds in one room. At that time, my business was

making money but paying $5,000 was really hard, especially when my cash flow in my own business

wasn’t consistent. I would go into what I like to call the ‘boom and famine’ cycles. One month I

would get a huge cash influx and another month I wouldn’t make a single penny. Keep in mind the

bills never stop! So it was literally a ‘boom and famine’ cycle! Perhaps you can relate.

Now back to the story… As I tell you the story of how these campaigns were created, please

understand that sometimes in life you just have to believe that something will work and suspend what

I like to call the B.S. Radar (aka Bull Sh*t Radar).

As humans, especially for people like us in the business… it’s REALLY HARD… because we’re

thinkers! We love to think about why business works, why it doesn’t, and our minds just won’t shut off.

But if you humor me for a second— suspend that disbelief aka that B.S. radar and just do exactly

These exact campaigns you’re about to learn came from one of the most successful marketers

with over 20+ years of experience in the industry. This marketer was making 8-figures.

Here’s a picture from that mastermind group. We’re talking about some real high level stuff…

This dates back to 2008! Right when the real estate was sooooo awesome! (Excuse my sarcasm!)

I wanted to show this picture (above) to you because at this 3-day mastermind group, we learned

about the fundamentals of business and marketing. Don’t get me wrong! The knowledge of knowing

what Root Cause Analysis, SWAT Analysis, 80/20 Rule, Core Competency, Competitive Intelligence,

etc. are all fine and dandy but when you’re trying to make money today, you’re wanting to find an

easier way, right? With the thought of me investing $5,000 for an event, I knew there had to be an

easier approach. It inspired me to make a personal goal of sitting down with this brilliant marketer

and picking his brain to get his insight on what I can do to grow my business NOW.

Two days went by and I failed to connect with the 8-figure fella. We had like a few liners here and

there but I was so bummed that I still had not have the chance to ask him the big question: “What

can I do NOW to get business today?” But on my last day at the mastermind even, exactly 45

minutes before lunch break, I saw the guy stand up and walk outside of the conference room.

I immediately stood up and followed him. As I was following him, I realized where this fella was

heading towards… he was going into the men’s restroom! I did what any sane person would; I

followed him into the restroom. (Forgive me, I’m crazy!) Of course, I broke the ultimate cardinal rule

for males in a public restroom. I know every guy can relate to this…

Yes I broke THIS ultimate cardinal rule...

He went to the farthest urinal in the corner bathroom and I walked up to the urinal closest to the

left of him. I know this was totally awkward for him because there were six other urinals I could have

picked from. The other awkward part was not having to go pee. Woops! But I did what came

instinctively… I unzipped my pants and used my best acting skills hoping to make things a little less

awkward for me. Unfortunately, I was not successful at using the urinal… I then thought to myself

“Screw it”, turned my head towards him and opened my mouth to say:

Me: “Hey Mr. 8-Figure, The Man, The Myth, The Legend… can I buy you lunch today? You can’t say

no to me since I followed you into the bathroom and now I’m attempting to pee right next to you

even though I really don’t have to pee.”

8-Figure Fella: “You’re a strange kid. But how can I say no right now? But… I have one condition…”

Me: “Sure, what’s that?

8-Figure Fella: “Make sure to wash your hands before we have lunch in a few minutes”

He smiles, zips himself up and starts walking to the vanity. By this time I was shocked and realized that

out of excitement, a little water stream started to come out! Crazy embarrassing, I know.

Then the 8-figure fella turns back at me and says…

8-Figure Fella: “Hey kid, remember this… if you shake more than twice you’re playing with yourself”

And then he walked out…

I zipped myself up… I giggled like a little girl who just saw her favorite boy band for the first time.

The Lunch Meeting

The lunch meeting was definitely in his control, with him taking over 90% of our conversation. He was

a fast talker but I was a fast listener. It’s strange but I realized that most super successful people seem

to always talk about mindset before they really give you the answer you’re looking to get from them.

But this was the first time I truly understood why. First topic… ‘Knowledge’.

Me: “So, knowing my business model now… what would you do to get business today?”

8-Figure Fella: “You see, the funny thing about knowledge and experience is this…”

Me: “Ummm… what?”

8-Figure Fella: He grabs a napkin and draws a circle. “If this circle is all the possible knowledge in the

world to fix your ‘get business now’ problem, what you know is a small piece. Would you agree?”

Me: “Ummm… yes.”

8-Figure Fella: “Then I’m sure you’ll agree that the knowledge you know, you DON’T know is another

piece like this” – he draws another line in the circle.”

Me: “Ummm… yes”.

8-Figure Fella: “And the remaining part of the circle is an area that I like to call the ‘dark hole’; this

area represents all of the things that you don’t even know that you don’t know.”

By this time… my mind was blown! Our deep conversation gave me the answers I’ve been longing to

hear. After that lunch I decided to follow this wise man’s suggestion on what I needed to do to get

business. From that lunch mastermind, lo and behold, I created these emails in 2008. This has been a

strategy used among many brilliant marketers and have been tweaked and perfected to fit the real

estate community.

What ARE These Campaigns All About?

The Get Business Today Campaigns are very simple. It’s a strategy to get people to respond to

you. You simply send these two VERY simple emails and ‘voila’… like magic, you’ll start getting

people to raise their hands out of interest of wanting to do business with you!

DO NOT let the simplicity fool you! I’ve tested countless emails and spent thousands of dollars split

testing – ONLY to come to one conclusion that… SIMPLE is best! The “8-Figure in Sales” Fella was right.

What I didn’t know I didn’t know… and now… I can live in the world of possibilities.

How Do I Use These Two “Get Business Today” Emails?

Please do not complicate things and “change things up”. Just take the email swipe file and follow

the simple instructions below for the following emails.

Here’s the 4-Step Process To Get Business Today:

1. Gather all of the emails from your old list (contacts).

2. Send Email #1 via Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) email.

a. If you have your leads in an email marketing software (ie. Aweber, Mailchimp, Top

Producer, Sales Force, etc.) you can use those as well.

3. Wait for responses.

4. Reply back to the responses you get.

Really, it’s that simple!

IMPORTANT NOTES:

DO NOT send out both of the emails at the same time or day. Wait 72 HOURS from the time the

first email is sent and then send the second email.

DO NOT add your “fancy” header, images, headshots, etc.

ONLY leave your contact information (name, license number, company name, phone

number, etc. – Note: Always remember less is more!)

ADD the Email Campaign Strategy to your monthly marketing campaign. This will allow you to

re-engage your email list and remove leads that would have never converted anyways.

For Gmail users: Use the “canned response” widget to mass reply to those leads that reply

back.

o Canned Responses = Loading up “common email” responses so you do not have to
