>> Experience at Earthen Bowl warehouse
Juan Esteban Antognini will wait for us at his Earthen Bowl workshop and storeroom in Quintas del Mirador, in the outskirts of Madryn, to show us his work with ceramic; he will explain how he uses high temperature ceramic (1,270 degrees) and materials from the area. He will tell us about clay, Patagonia earth and sea shells. He works without lead, “with the idea of transforming soil into ceramic for you take a piece of Patagonia”. Besides this, his business reuses the passives of industry, recycles garbage and looks for oils from restaurants around the area to use them as energy; he speaks with great passion about what he does as he shows his machines. He knows how to spread enthusiasm when he speaks about using less plastic. In his workshop you can see some of the beauties he manufactures: casseroles, bowls, dishes, basins and even strainers.

TREKKING THROUGH PARDELAS AND OPTIONAL WHALE WATCHING ON YELLOW
Accommodation at selected hotel in Puerto Pirámides.
>> Hiking inPenínsula Valdés:Dunes and Caves
We leave Pirámides going up Olazabal hill with an excellent panoramic view of the Nuevo Gulf where we will be able to observe a lot of Southern Right whales from height.The tour continues on edges of cliffs between marine fossils from 15 millions of years ago when Península Valdés was under the Atlantic ocean waters, then arriving to the dune system where we will be able to observe the contrast between the desert and the sea, we will visit locations where native towns settled and will pass by the cemetery of Italian Immigrant salt workers used in the early XX century by the first settlers of Puerto Pirámides. The hike continues going down a canyon until reaching a lonely beach with3 incredible caves and then we go back to the Tourist Village walking relaxed along the beach. On this hike we will be able to enjoy southern right whales with their calves in this magical place near the coast.
>> Optional:Whale watching onYellow Submarine
Unlike other boats, this semisubmersible allows us to observe whales submerged in their world. Under the water, perspective is completely different, the experience is the same as if you were diving next to them. As they remain close to the vessel, we observe them all the time through the 40 windows of the underwater cabin. On board, passengers can circulate freely and also opt for the deck of the vessel to observe from the surface of the water as in a conventional whale watching. It is important to clarify that the carrying out and satisfaction of this product depends of weather conditions and visibility of the water on the day of the tour and it also requires a reservation of several months in advance.

We will be able to hear their particular sounds and observe the reproductive behavior of whales.The shallow waters close to the coast are also place of mother’s breastfeeding their calves.
/// PUNTA NORTEWITH ORCAS VIGIL
The magical nature of Puerto Madryn reserves a place for each sea animal. In this occasion Orcas, the most famous and peculiar cetacean for its combination of colors in black and white, will be the star of our sightseeing. In Punta Norte also home of our sea lions, a colony of Orcas comes close to hunt each year. Their jumps in the sea give us post cards in which we can see them entirely, as well as resting on the shore of the beach. An experience worthwhile living.Itinerary: Sightseeing in Punta Norte; the beach divides in different areas creating channels where Orcas can, with high tides, surprise with their presence in an instant.
