Get Your Phone Ready

Insert the Battery

1. Remove the battery compartment cover. Use your thumbs to press down on the battery compartment and slide the cover downward.

2. Align the battery contacts with the contacts in the compartment, and then gently press down until it clicks into place.

3. Slide the battery cover back into place.

Charge the Battery

1. Plug the phone charger into an outlet.

2. Plug the other end of the charger into the phone’s charger or accessory jack.

Turn the Phone On

• Pressandhold to turn the phone on.

Activate Your Phone

• IfyoupurchasedyourphoneataSprintStore,itisprobably activated and ready to use.

• Ifyoureceivedyourphoneinthemail,anditisanewSprint account or a new phone number, your phone is designed to activate automatically when you first turn it on. To confirm your activation, make phone call.

• Ifyoureceivedyourphoneinthemailandyouareswitching numbers from a previous Sprint phone to the new phone, you need to go online to activate the number on your new phone.

• Fromyourcomputer’sWebbrowser,goto sprint.com/activate and complete the onscreen instructions to activate your phone.

Whenyouhavefinished,makeaphonecalltoconfirmyouractivation.IfyourphoneisstillnotactivatedoryoudonothaveaccesstotheInternet,contact Sprint Customer Service at 1-888-211-4727 for assistance.

Switch to Spanish Menus

1. Press > Settings/Tools > Settings > Display > Language (Idioma).

2. Highlight English or Español and press .

Set Up Your Voicemail

All unanswered calls are automatically transferred to your voicemail, even if your phone is in use or turned off. You should set up your voicemail and personal greeting as soon as your phone is activated. Always use a passcode to protect against unauthorized access.

2. Followthesystempromptstocreateyourpasscodeand record your name and greeting.

1. Using One Touch Message Access, press and hold .

2. Enter your passcode.

1. Dial your wireless phone number.

3. Enter your passcode.

Save a Phone Number

1. Enter a phone number and press OPTIONS(right softkey) > Save.

2. Select New Entry to create a new contact, or Existing Entry to save the number to an existing contact.

3. Select a category for the number (such as Mobile, Home, Work, Pager, Fax, or Other), enter a name for the entry, and add any other information you wish to store to the contact.

4. Press DONE (left softkey).

Retrieve a Phone Number

1. Press > Contacts.

2. Use your navigation key to scroll through the entries, or use your keypad to enter the first few letters of the contact entry.

3. To display an entry, highlight it and press .

4. To call the entry’s default phone number, highlight it and press .

Note: You can also display the Contacts list by pressing Contacts (right softkey) in standby mode.

Send a Text Message

1. Press > Messaging > Send Message > Text.

2. Enter a wireless phone number or email address.

3. Use your keypad to enter a message or select OPTIONS (right softkey) to choose from preset messages or smileys.

4. Press SEND (left softkey).

Send a Picture

1. Press > Messaging > Send Message > Picture.

2. Select Go to Contacts or NEW ADDR (right softkey) to enter the recipients, and press .

3. Use the navigation key to select [Insert Picture] > My Photos or New Picture.

4. Display the picture you wish to send and press SELECT (left softkey).

5. Followtheonscreenprompts.Youcanselectasubject, and add a text or audio message if you wish.

6. Press SEND (left softkey) to send the picture.

Messaging Pictures

Take a Picture

1. Press > Photos > Camera to activate the phone’s camera. (You can also press the side camera button.)

2. Using your display as a viewfinder, aim the camera lens at your subject, and press CAPTURE (left softkey),

, or the side camera button.

3. Press CAMERA (left softkey) or the side camera button to return to Camera mode, or press OPTIONS (right softkey) to explore other options, including sending the picture to a contact.

Envía un mensaje de texto

1. Presiona > Mensajeria > Enviar Mensaje > Texto. –o– Presiona .

3. Presiona CAMARA (tecla programable de la izquierda) para volver al modo de Cámara, o presiona OPCIONES (tecla programable de la derecha) para explorar otras opciones, incluyendo enviar la foto a un contacto.

Programa tu correo de voz

Todas las llamadas que no sean contestadas son transferidas automáticamente a tu correo de voz, incluso si tu teléfono está en uso o apagado. Graba un número de teléfono

2. Selecciona Nueva Entrada para crear un contacto nuevo o Entrd Existenteparagrabarelnúmerodeuncontacto que ya existe.

3.Seleccionaunacategoríaparaelnúmero(comoMóvil, Casar Trabajo, Biper, Fax, o Otro), ingresa el nombre del contacto y agrega cualquier otra información que deseas guardar para dicho contacto.

4. Presiona HECHO (tecla programable de la izquierda).

Recupera un número de teléfono

1. Presiona > Contactos.

2. Usa tu tecla de navegación para revisar los contactos, o usa tu teclado para ingresar las primeras letras del nombre del contacto.

3. Para ver un contacto en la pantalla, resáltalo y presiona .Parallamaralnúmerodeteléfonoprincipal de tu contacto, resáltalo y presiona .

Prepara tu teléfono

Pon la batería

1. Quita la tapa del compartimiento para la batería. Usa los pulgares para presionar la tapa y desliza la tapa hacia abajo.

2. Alinea los contactos de la batería con los contactos del compartimiento, y luego presiónala suavemente hasta que se enganche en su lugar.

3. Vuelve a colocar la tapa de la batería.

Carga la batería

1. Conecta el cargador del teléfono en una toma de corriente.

2. Conecta el otro extremo del cargador al teléfono o al conector adicional.

Encienda el teléfono
