Husky Spirit.

leadership development experience that is designed to help young leaders learn to “lead with integrity”.

LeaderShape Institute

The LeaderShape Institute

This highly interactive and energizing program provides the tools for individuals to:

◎ Act consistently with core ethical values, personal values, and convictions

◎ Develop and enrich relationships◎ Respect the dignity and contribution of all people◎ Believe in a healthy disregard for the impossible◎ Produce extraordinary results

25

The LeaderShape Institute

Utilizing highly interactive program methods rather than classroom lectures, everyone is a teacher and everyone is a learner. At the LeaderShape Institute, participants create a LeaderShape Breakthrough Blueprint they can begin to implement as soon as they leave. The objective of each participant’s blueprint is to produce extraordinary results in their organization and their institution during the next nine to 12 months.

Alternative Spring BreakAlternative Spring Break (ASB) exists to promote service learning and community building to Michigan Tech students through participation in experiential learning opportunities via an alternative break. Through ASB, students have the opportunity to develop into life-long active citizens in local, national and global communities through diverse, direct-service experiences dedicated to civic engagement.

In spring of 2019, we partnered with NetWork Volunteers and Long Way Home to send students to New Orleans, LA and Comalapa, Guatemala to work on sustainability initiatives!

Fraternities and sororities at Michigan Tech seek to redefine the Greek experience by advancing fraternal ideals through a commitment to our

rituals. Our core values of scholarship, leadership, service, and community provide the foundation for our lifelong brotherhood and sisterhood, through which, we strive to strengthen members individually and as an organization.
