Feast of Trumpets is also known as Yom Teruah in Hebrew, which implies “blowing” (as in a sho- far or trumpet). The Eighth Day is special in Yahweh’s plan of salvation because it can symbolize the Great White Throne Judgment found in the book of Revelation, in which the rest of mankind will be judged in the second resurrection. It is a separate feast from Tabernacles and also points us to a time out of time; in other words, eternity. Of these times, the Feast of Trumpets has many dif- ferent “tones” that are used when blowing. YAHWEH'S ASSEMBLY IN YAHSHUA

Inside this issue:

Get ready for the fall Holy Days! It’s hard to believe that summer is nearly over. Soon we will be keep-

ing Yahweh’s fall Holy Days. In this time period, we keep four Holy

Days: the Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles,

and the Eighth Day. Each one is unique in its own way.

For instance, the Feast of Tabernacles is the only one that requires us

to be in a temporary dwelling for seven days. Day of Atonement is dif-

ferent from the others in the sense that it is the only commanded yearly

fast, in which no food or water is permitted. Feast of Trumpets is also

known as Yom Teruah in Hebrew, which implies “blowing” (as in a sho-

far or trumpet). The Eighth Day is special in Yahweh’s plan of salvation

because it can symbolize the Great White Throne Judgment found in the

book of Revelation, in which the rest of mankind will be judged in the

second resurrection. It is a separate feast from Tabernacles and also

points us to a time out of time; in other words, eternity.

Of these times, the Feast

of Trumpets has many dif-

ferent “tones” that are used

when blowing. In ancient

Israel, shofars (Hebrew for

horn, like a ram’s horn or

silver trumpets) were used

to gather people together,

or even to warn them of

impending battle!

Day of Atonement is sig-

nificant because it symbol-

izes the putting away of

Satan. Only when Satan is out of the picture can mankind truly be “at

one” with Yahweh. Many children especially look forward to the Feast

of Tabernacles because it’s fun to go camping with other brethren to learn

more about Yahweh! So mark your calendars and see you at the fall Holy

Day gatherings!
