Get to Know Arts to Grow
Mission to Help Children Achieve Their Full Potential
ATG engages children in the artistic process by providing highly tailored and professionally
taught arts education programs to youth who have limited access to the arts. Arts to Grow
collaborates closely with schools and community groups to match performing and visual arts
programs and Teaching Artists with the specific needs of each group of children. ATG serves
the community and society by helping children develop their full potential through the arts.
ATG serves at-risk and less advantaged youth who have little or no access to arts education.
Our evidence-based programs provide high quality arts instruction that enables these children
to live up to their potential and achieve success. Enabling for success: that’s our mission.
Studies have shown that arts education benefits not just arts awareness, but also reading,
language, math, social and critical thinking skills, as well as self -sustained motivation and
personal confidence. These abilities make our students ready for the challenges they’ll face
every day in their real world.
ATG’s effectiveness is based in creating a deep impact on each child; we are committed to
helping each one feel empowered, confident and excited about learning.
