GETTING AROUND BOULDER Rev. 2/15/13

Note: Crossroads Mall was renamed 29th Street Mall in Oct. 2006. Your choice of transportation while in Boulder includes walking, bus, taxi, or rental car, which is the primary means of getting about for visitors who attend meetings at LASP. Boulder has an entire network of bike/walk trails that criss-cross the city. If you stay at the Millennium Hotel, for example, you can walk to LASP on a trail that goes under US-36/28th Street toward the East campus. Frequent-running shuttle buses serve the CU main campus and Pearl Street Mall (Hop), the east campus (Stampede), and the city (Skip, Jump, Bound). If you may be riding the bus a lot, you might want to purchase a book of tickets, available at Safeway and King

HOP Shuttle service to downtown Boulder, the Hill (student area west of CU Main Campus), CU, and 29th St. Mall (formerly called Crossroads). This two-way loop route runs every 7-10 minutes Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-7 p.m. (every 15 min. after 7pm till 10pm) and every 15 minutes on Saturday 9 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. During CU fall and spring semesters, the night HOP runs every 30 minutes 10p.m.-midnight except Sunday nights.
