Getting from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Waterloo, ON

There are a couple of different ways in which Equip attendees can travel from Toronto’s Pearson airport to the city of Kitchener/Waterloo. Attendees can make arrangements and bookings based on their preference, flight times and budget.

1. Go Transit (https://www.gotransit.com) Catch the 40 Hamilton Bus to Square One from Terminal One at Pearson airport. Transfer at Square One to Bus 25 to University of Waterloo.

Take a taxi or Uber to the hotel. Cost: $17.55 (bus) + $15-20 (taxi/Uber). Travel time: approx. 3 hours

2. Greyhound Bus (www.greyhound.ca)

Catch the Greyhound bus from Pearson airport to Kitchener or Waterloo. - Operates 2x daily to University of Waterloo or 4x daily to Kitchener Charles St. Depot - Take a taxi or Uber to the hotel. - Cost: $10 (online fare for bus) + $15-37 for taxi/Uber depending on if it is the bus to

Waterloo or Kitchener. - Travel time: approx. 2 hours

3. UP Train Express (www.rome2rio.com or www.upexpress.com)

Catch the Up train from Pearson Airport to Bloor St. Transfer to Up Train to Kitchener. - Operates 3x daily from Bloor to Kitchener. - Take a taxi or Uber to the Hotel. - Cost: $16-28 (train) + $15-37 (taxi/Uber). - Travel time: approx. 3 hours.

4. Shuttle (www.airwaystransit.com)

- Door-to-door shuttle service from Pearson airport to hotel. - Must book ahead. - $202 round-trip - Travel time: approx. 1.5 hours

5. Rental Car

Cost: rental car plus fuel.
